## Long-duration infrared imaging

Monitored loaded samples with fast infrared cameras and real-time filtering to search for localized hot spots during laser stimulation. No LENR signal was established.

## Nanopillar arrays

Built arrays containing millions of palladium pillars to record localized damage. Debris and handling could also remove pillars, making this approach less conclusive than the later nanofilms.

## Patterned nanofilm arrays

Used thin-film detectors across laser, high-temperature, cryogenic, electric-field, and pressure-assisted electrochemical experiments. No features were attributed to LENR.

## Cryogenic single-event search

In BE4131, held a nanofilm sample at 145 ksi D₂ and −160 °C for 12 hours without active stimulation, then examined it for event-like damage. No LENR feature was found.

## Magnetic thermal-history sensors

Developed magnetic films and nanodots to retain a record of brief local heating. Tests with loaded palladium did not establish an anomalous heat event.

## Acoustic detection

Searched for short acoustic impulses and compared hydrogen and deuterium experiments. No isotope difference was measured; the campaign ended before its best-performing configuration was used for AHE measurements.

## Nuclear detection

Used gamma detectors and scintillators during and after experiments. No detected radiation was attributed to LENR; radiation produced by intense laser pulses also occurred in control materials.
